My love of Writing, Marketing, Social Media and Video Production have finally found a home at Get the Dirt.
I've been fortunate enough to work in all the exciting areas above. I write and have written both corporate and commercial communications in traditional and new media. I have worked for two TV stations and one Media Production house.
I've been a Writer/Producer/Director, a Creative Director twice and a Writer/Communication specialist. So yes, I really am comfortable with the creative process and the written word.
I love writing. I strive to provide content that resonates and engages the reader. It sounds cliche but it's true, I do my best to write authentically.
I'm currently working on contract in writing, educating and strategizing with clients about Social Media and I'm always on the lookout for interesting Video Production opportunities. I find emerging technologies and the way we now engage with each other and when looking for information utterly fascinating. It's an exciting time to be part of Internet Marketing. I look forward to helping clients make the jump into the latest tools in the MarCom sandbox.
In my spare time I travel with my husband, volunteer and spend time with friends. I also enjoy writing stories about the people and places we visit, using my husbands exceptional photography for inspiration.
I am looking for a full-time position that allows me to write, as well as strategize copy approach and marry a few of my other skills together. Still, if you have a great contract position available, I would certainly consider that a viable option.
